Review – Womolia

womolia-parts

The vibrator with the funny name is now near the top of my list of favorite toys.

When I received the Womolia Heat from Emotional Bliss, I knew I was getting a quality product.   The vibrator arrived packed securely in a box containing a well laid out and informative manual, a small bottle of silicone lube, and a charger.  The 27-page manual not only contains instructions for the product but suggestions for use.

The details:  The Womolia has nine vibration/pulse settings. There is a separate on/off button in addition to the plus/minus buttons, which are used to cycle through the settings.  A cool feature (the Sensations Graph, bottom of the page) at the Emotional Bliss website allows you to hear what the different vibration patterns sound like.  The Womolia heats up! Over time, the end of the vibrator can get up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit on two of the higher settings.  Of course, Alec had to take this opportunity to verify these heat claims.  Check out the results:  starting temp, after running 25 minutes on the high constant setting.  Womolia is made up of TPE (ThermoPlastic Elastomer – the blue portions of the product) and ABS (hard plastic – white portion of the product).  Both of these materials are phathlate-free.  The TPE contains an anti-bacterial agent that is activated by washing with water and wiping the product.  Per the manual:  “When in contact with moisture, the outer layer of the chemical matrix in the plastic slowly dissolves, releasing silver ions to the surface” and “The silver ions are the biologically active component and are 99.9% or even 99.999% effective against a wide range of micro-organisms.”  The suggested method of cleaning is using mild soap, taking care not to submerge the vibe.  Those wishing to share this toy with others would be best protected by using the Womolia with a condom.  And I cannot forget one of the best features – the Womolia is rechargeable.

My thoughts:  As I said in the beginning of this review, the Womolia is now one of my favorite vibrators.  This baby packs quite a punch.  As strong as the Hitachi?  Probably not.  But it is significantly more strong than any other vibrator I own.  My favorite setting is the medium constant vibration.  As you might expect with a stronger vibe comes a more prominent noise.  Yes, this is a noisy vibrator.  But not so much so that I’m bothered by it.  I don’t expect my vibrators to be silent.

I love that the material on the tip of the vibrator has a bit of “grab” (for lack of a better word) to it.  It doesn’t slide right off my clit which is a plus in my book.  I also liked inserting the tip into my vagina as I was approaching orgasm. The Womolia works not only as a clit vibe for me but is also good for stimulating my g-spot.

The construction of the Womolia is great as well.  The handle is easy and comfortable to hold, the buttons are clearly marked and straightforward to use, and I know this vibrator is going to last for a long time.  I’m excited that it’s rechargeable as well.  Any time I don’t have to waste batteries on a toy, I’m pleased.

While I could take or leave the heat function of the Womolia, I did appreciate it.  The gentle warming of the vibe was noticeable and pleasant but, for me, didn’t add all that much to the experience.  I certainly wouldn’t turn my toy on ahead of time to warm it up (as suggested in the manual) but I do enjoy the gradual warming that happens as I use the vibe.

Did I mention I renamed my vibrator The Wombat? Womolia doesn’t exactly roll off my tongue but Wombat comes out quite nicely.

Where to buy:  The Womolia is available from quite a few sources. Among them, Babeland, EdenFantasys, and even Walgreens. All of those sellers are offering the previous, non-heat version of the Womolia. A lower price might be had by ordering direct from Emotional Bliss, where I received my Womolia Heat from.  Emotional Bliss has a great guarantee and is a great company to deal with.

I would highly recommend the Womolia Heat.  I’ve enjoyed mine and I know I’ll continue to do so!
